Carter Cup 2012 - Saturday 8th September - Akrotiri, Cyprus

In conjunction with the 2012 RAF Akrotiri Station Fun Day.

"I look forward with eager anticipation to this year's Carter Cup Tournament, now in its 41st year. The 7-a-side format introduced in recent years has produced a number of exhilarating, fast paced, competitive football games which make a great spectacle for the supporters. I encourage as many entitled players to participate, form a team and enter the competition on Sat 8th Sep 2012.

The Combined Services Football Association (Cyprus) would like to thank all those involved in bringing this Event together and a special thank you goes to the Referees' Association, who have done a superb job with the overall event organisation and management. Because of their efforts the Carter Cup is now officially the showcase football event that heralds the start of the Cyprus Services' Football Season 2012/13. Each year the event raises money for many good causes and I look for your support on the day to help make this Tournament another successful one.

Finally, on behalf of the RAF Akrotiri Station Commander, Group Captain James Linter, I would like to extend a very warm welcome, to all those who will take part in the competition and to the officials. As the day which coincides with the RAF Akrotiri's Station Fun Day, entitled personnel will be able to enjoy the two events running in tandem!"
